EDWARD F. DIDIER Eddie Didier of Montgomery Street in Port Washington passed away at his residence Saturday evening March 8 2008. He was 86 years old. Eddie was born in Dacada on October 26 1921 son of Hubert and Mary Hamm Didier. On June 9 1945 he married Ms. Laura M. Keller at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. The couple settled in Port Washington and raised their family. Laura preceded him in death in 2005. Eddie was a welder and fabricator at Glander Ornamental Metal in Saukville for over 30 years retiring in 1982. Mr. Didier was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a former Trustee of Catholic Knights District 31. He was well known for his ability to fix most anything and his willingness to help anyone. He enjoyed fishing gardening dancing to polka and waltz music with his sweetie going for walks and socializing with friends. Eddie was a dedicated family man and enjoyed making everyone smile. He is survived by four children: Barbara (Gerald) Dickmann of Saukville Dennis (Lynn) Didier of Port Washington Karen M. (Butch) Styles of Port Washington and David (Laura) Didier also of Port Washington. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren 3 great-grandsons 3 unborn great-grandbabies 2 sisters: Leona Kaker of Sheboygan and Germaine Bowe of Wauwatosa 2 sisters-in-law: Carol Preisler and Gloria Keller both of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Laura and 13 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday March 13 2008 at 7:30 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington with Father James Ernster officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his sweetie in St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
