EDNA M. SACKETT Mrs. Edna Sackett age 82 years of 3420 S. Main St. Newburg died Thursday August 14 2003 at Sunny Springs Assisted Living in Port Washington where she had been a resident for the past year. She was born September 9 1920 in Mountain WI daughter of the late Charles and Anna Petz Minkel. On June 14 1941 she married Russell Sackett in Townsend WI. He preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Sackett worked as a punch press operator for Attaco Steel Co. in Grafton for 28 years retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton She enjoyed golfing gardening and baking. She is survived by her son William (Kathleen) Sackett of Newburg her daughter Diane (Dennis) Jung of Port Washington four grandchildren Timothy (Kelly) Sackett Mark (friend Kym Frederickson) Sackett Tina (Ken) Krause and Lisa (fianc Jordan Rathke) Jung three great grandchildren Taylor and Colin Sackett and Kirsten Krause one sister Emma Giese of Saukville three sisters in law Isabelle Sackett of Beaver Dam Norine Ross of LaPine OR and Lorraine Minkel. She was preceded in death by five brothers three sisters and one grandson Brian Jung. Funeral services will be Monday August 18 11 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton with Pastor John Suelflow officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington Sunday from 4-7 pm and at the CHURCH Monday after 10 AM.
