EDITH I. THOLL Edy Mrs. Edith Tholl of West Main Street in Port Washington passed away Tuesday morning September 8 2015 at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon. She was 82 years old. Edith was born in Port Washington on February 16 1933 daughter of Fred and Emma Werking Soehnlein. She attended local schools and graduated from Port Washington High School. Edith was united in marriage with Francis Bud Tholl on August 13 1955 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The couple settled in town and started their family of three children. Bud preceded Edith in death on August 12 1988. Mrs. Tholl enjoyed gardening and always had beautiful flower beds next to her home. She loved animals especially her dogs and could frequently be seen walking them throughout town. Edith was an avid reader and also enjoyed trips to Door County with her daughter to view the scenery. Mrs. Tholl is survived by her son Steven (Diane) Tholl of Edmonds WA and daughters Christine Tholl of Atlanta GA and Mary (Steve) Beecher of Grafton. She is further survived by four grandchildren: Jason Hannah Makarovich both of Atlanta GA Stacy (Andy) Normile of Menomonee Falls and Matt Beecher of West Bend 3 great-grandchildren: Charlotte Beecher Summer Kegan Normile other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Bud and brother Fred Soehnlein. A Gathering of Remembrance will take place on Sunday September 13th from 2-4PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Memorials are suggested to the Ozaukee Humane Society.
