DOUGLAS J. MAMAYEK Mr. Doug Mamayek of County Roadnbsp; K in the Town of Holland passed away Thursday evening November 6 2008 at Columbia St. Maryrsquo;s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon after a battle with colon cancer.nbsp; He was 48 years old.nbsp; Doug was born in Milwaukee on June 8 1960 son of Ralph and Mary Ann Brundmueller Mamayek.nbsp; At the age of 16 Doug started working at the family hardware store on National Ave.nbsp; He eventually took over becoming the proud owner of Mamayek Ace Hardware.nbsp; Doug enjoyed playing with things with engines; he liked four wheeling boating and Corvettes along nbsp;with other ldquo;big boy toysrdquo;. He also liked to watch the Packers play. Most importantly Doug enjoyed living life to the fullest.nbsp; He is survived by his three children: Douglas J. Mamayek and fianceacute;e Laura Feyereisen of Dacada Dona (Christopher) Idt of Random Lake and Jordan Mamayek of Batavia and his mother Mary Ann Mamayek of Wauwatosa.nbsp; He is further survived by his brother Jeff (Rita) Mamayek of Juneau his three sisters: Christine (Leslie) Oshiro of Pukalani HI Nancy (Joe) Miller of Waukesha and Patricia (Steve) Gaskey of Hubertus nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his father Ralph.nbsp; Funeral Services will be held at 7PM on Wednesday November 12th at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W.
