DOUGLAS E. GOSTCHOCK Mr. Doug Gostchock of Forest Street in Fredonia passed away at Heritage Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington on Sunday evening August 3 2014. He was 85 years old. Douglas was born in Milwaukee on July 4 1929 son of Edward and Evelyn Fletcher Gostchock. He attended local schools and graduated from Rufus King High School Class of 1947 before attending Marquette University. Dog was united in marriage with Audrey Butenhof on May 13 1950 at Gesu Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple settled near 87th Hampton Avenue and raised their family. Mr. Gostchock worked for Campbell's Soup Company until 1975 and the couple then moved to Florida. They returned to Wisconsin in 1978 and moved to Oostburg and finally Fredonia in 1997. Doug loved watching his Brewers and Packers play ball and also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife Audrey and his faithful canine companion Charlie. Other survivors include daughter-of-the heart Jeri (Kim) Gelinskey of Fredonia daughters Denise Thompson of Castle Rock CO and Deborah Wiviott of Phoenix AZ granddaughter Melissa Thompson and brother-in-law Donald (Marilyn) Butenhof of The Villages FL. He is preceded in death by his parents brother Kenneth Gostchock and sister Eileen Buckley. Private family services will be held.
