Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Miller Mrs. Dorothy Miller formerly of Port Washington passed away at River Hills West Healthcare Center in Pewaukee on Friday October 14 2005. She was 89 years old. Dorothy was born in Port Washington on June 30 1916 the daughter of Frank and Florence Paine Kendall. She graduated from Port Washington High School in 1934. On April 6 1941 she was united in marriage with William H. White in Debuque Iowa. The couple moved back to Port Washington in 1947. They ran a barbershop until his death in 1980. On December 16 1982 Dorothy married Charles Miller in Port Washington. He also preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Miller enjoyed traveling to her cabin near Crivitz. She was especially fond of swimming and ice- skating on Newton Lake. Dorothy cared deeply about animals particularly her dear cat Blackie. She often spoke of her sister's children with great fondness. She is survived by 2 sisters Mary of Houghton MI and Ruth Hartwig of Two Lakes Wisconsin and 2 stepsons: Rev. Richard (Sally) Miller of Manitowoc and James Miller of Port Washington. She is further survived by 4 step-grandchildren: Matthew Miller of Fredonia Andrew (Susan) Miller of Sheboygan Dave (Suzanne) Miller of Milwaukee and Paul (Leah) Miller of Oostburg. She is preceded in death by both of her husbands 1 brother Frank Jr. and 1 sister Helen. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday October 19th 1PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. (Hwy 33 LL) in Port Washington. Rev. Richard Miller will officiate. Inurnment will take place in Union Cemetery Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12-1PM. br /Service:br /1:00 PM at 1600 W.
