Mrs. Dorothy J. Maynard Mrs. Dorothy Maynard of West Linden Street in Saukville passed away peacefully at her residence in the early morning hours of Sunday September 10 2006. She was 85 years old. Dorothy was born in Milwaukee on September 22 1920 daughter of Oscar and Julia Schafer Hoffman. She married Lawrence Follett in Milwaukee in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1946. She was united in marriage to Ernest Maynard in 1968 and the couple settled in Saukville. He preceded her in death in 1987.Mrs. Maynard had worked as a clerk at Boston Store in Milwaukee until her retirement in 1959. Dorothy had been a member of the Saukville Senior Center having served as Secretary of the organization for a time. She enjoyed gardening playing cards cooking and travel. She liked to crochet afghans was an avid reader and loved chocolate. Mrs. Maynard is survived by her daughter Carole Follett of St. Augustine FL 8 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren and one sister Marlene (Rudy) Mishich of Muskego. She is preceded in death by two husbands: Lawrence Follett and Ernest Maynard and two daughters: Sharon Warner and Judy Miojokovich. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday September 13th 11AM at the Chapel of the Flowers Wisconsin Memorial Park Brookfield. Father Jim Ernster will officiate. Inurnment will follow.
