Dorothy L. FenneyDorothy Fenney of Oostburg formerly of Port Washington passed away on Sunday May 1 2011 at Lasata Care Center surrounded by her loving family.nbsp; She was 91 years old.nbsp; Dorothy was born in Milwaukee on May 17 1919 daughter of Joseph and Viola (nee nbsp;Retzer) Watry.nbsp; She grew up in the Port Washington area graduating from Port Washington High School in 1937.nbsp; On January 19 1941 she married Tilford Fenney in Dubuque IA.nbsp; Dorothy worked as the head secretary for the principal at Port Washington High School retiring in 1985.nbsp; She also worked as the secretary of the American Red Cross Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter for over 20 years.nbsp; She helped many area families while she was with the Red Cross and led the relief efforts in the area after the 1964 tornado in Port Washington.nbsp; Dorothy was a member of St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington.nbsp; She had an unparalleled love of reading and even had a small library in Arizona named after her.nbsp; Mrs. Fenney also enjoyed traveling and spending time as a ldquo;snow birdrdquo; with her husband in Apache Junction AZ.nbsp; Dorothy is survived by her two children Joseph Fenney of Port Washington and Carol (Donald) Goeden of Fredonia.nbsp; She is further survived by five grandchildren; Lisa (Russell) Lemke of Grafton Laura Goeden of Fredonia Cathy (Brian) Wilger of Random Lake Mike (Carmen) Goeden of Farmington and Mark (Novy) Goeden of Chicago six great-grandchildren; Joshua and Tiffany Lemke Jacob Wilger Ellie and Brody Goeden and Branden Goeden her brother-in-law Edward (Arline) Fenney nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 5 2011 at 5 PM at St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington with Father Tom Lijewski officiating.nbsp; Visitation will be held at the CHURCH on Thursday May 5th from 3-5 PM.nbsp; The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family.nbsp; Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.comnbsp; nbsp;br /Service:br /p5:00 PM at St. Mary\'s Catholic Church 430 Johnson St. Port Washington WI 53074 on May 5 2011 (a href=\http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?city=Port Washingtonamp;state=WIamp;address=430 Johnson St.amp;zip=53074amp;country=usamp;zoom=8\ target=\_blank\map/driving directions/a)br /br //p
