DOROTHY J. KRELL Mrs. Dorothy Krell of Willow Ave. in Cedar Grove passed away Tuesday morning September 25 2012 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center just shy of her 94th birthday. Dorothy was born in Milwaukee on October 1 1918 daughter of John and Mary Kujawa Stengel. When she was 9 years old her family moved to the area and settled in Lake Church. Dorothy attended local schools and graduated from Port Washington High School with the Class of 1936. She was united in marriage with Nicholas Krell on September 3 1955 in Illinois. The couple raised their family in Lake Church. Mr. Krell preceded her in death on October 15 1982. Dorothy moved to Cedar Grove in 1989. Mrs. Krell was a member of the former St. Mary Catholic Church currently Divine Savior Parish. She had a passion for crocheting afghans which she frequently donated to charity. She enjoyed puzzlebooks crosswords and liked reading. Dorothy is survived by her four children: Jim (Kitty) Shape of Lake Mary FL Karen Krell of Cedar Grove Sharon (Jim) Howard of Milwaukee and Nick Krell of Howards Grove. She is further survived by 5 grandchildren: Jamie (Sandie) Shape Laura Arleth Mike Shape Kellye Krell and Lindsay Krell 6 great-grandchildren 1 brother Raymond Stengel nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Nicholas and 2 brothers: Cyril Casey and Otto Stengel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5PM on Friday September 28th at Divine Savior Parish St. Mary Chapel Lake Church. Father Phil Reifenberg and Father Jim Ernster will concelebrate the service. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in St. Mary Cemetery Belgium. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Friday from 3-5PM. Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for their excellent care during her hospitalization as well as the wonderful neighbors and friends who helped.
