Dorothy Lois Friede of Adell, WI passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born on May 12, 1935 in Port Washington to Esther (nee Clausing and Joseph Morauski. She was married to Edward Friede also in Port Washington on September 28, 1963 and together they have four children. Dorothy grew up in Port Washington and graduated from Port High School. She went on to attend nursing school and worked as a nurse for several years. She was an active volunteer at River of Life Lutheran Church in Saukville and with The Gideons International Association. Dorothy had a passion for birdwatching and collecting lighthouses. She loved spending time with her family and beloved dog Bonnie. Dorothy is survived by her husband Edward, her children Amy (Jeff) Richson, Kevin (Julie) Friede, Heidi (Steve) Halverson and Aaron Friede; grandchildren Joseph (Kara) Friede, Laurel Friede, and Garrett Friede; siblings Willard Morauski, Marjorie King and Carole (Norman) Philipps. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Donald, Robert, and sister Marilyn A Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held at 5:00pm on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at River of Life Lutheran Church, 598 Hillcrest Road, Saukville, WI 53080. The family will receive visitors at the church from 3:00pm until the time of service. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Boltonville Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to The Gathering Place in Sheboygan Falls or First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.
