DOROTHY R. BOSTWICK Mrs. Dorothy Bostwick age 98 years of The Harbor Club Port Washington died Monday March 26 2007 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. She was born December 21 1908 in Port Washington daughter of Carl A. and Margaret Fellenz Larson. On May 6 1939 she married John R. Bostwick at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. He preceded her in death in 1965. Dorothy was proud to be a Port Washingtonian and witnessed many changes as the city grew. She found employment in accounting with Smith Bros. Restaurant and later with Freeman Chemical Corporation retiring in 1974 after 20 years. For years she was financial secretary for every organization to which she belonged: the Port Washington Women's Club the Girl Scout Council and St. Mary's Christian Women. She also volunteered at the former St. Alphonsus Hospital. She enjoyed playing bridge weekly attending Port Washington Historical Society meetings and participating in events at St. Mary's church. She is survived by three children: John M.Hans (Betty Russell) Bostwick of Burlington Carl E. (Betty Becker) Bostwick of Port Washington and Margaret A. Peggy (Frank) Scarpace of Madison five grandchildren: Sherry Wicinski LyAnn Schultz Christopher Bostwick Kelly Plank and Sarah Scarpace seven great grandchildren: Josh and Aaron Wicinski Sierra and Blake Schultz Jordan Logan and Corey Plank one brother Judge Charles L. Larson of Port Washington other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers Martin and Stanley. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 29 4 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church Port Washington with Father Allan Sommer officiating. Interment Union Cemetery Port Washington. Visitation at the CHURCH Thursday from 2-4 PM.
