Doris M. Vey of Cedarburg, WI passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday January 26, 2018 at the age of 79. Doris was born in West Bend, WI on April 2, 1938 the daughter of Cecil and Pauline (nee Klarkowski) Adee. She was united in marriage to Victor Vey at Holy Angles Catholic Church in West Bend on April 7, 1956. She was the wife for 61 years to Victor, mother of: Patty (Stan) Steinike of Jackson, Judy (Jim) Wheiland of West Bend, Mark (Terry) Vey of Cedarburg and Brian Vey of Cedarburg, grandmother of: Jennifer (Scott) McNeal of Issaquah, WA, Dan (Rebecca) Steinke of Pewaukee, Michael Wheiland of Cedar Grove, Peter Wheiland of Pittsburg, PA, Matthew (fiancée Kam Thull) Vey of West Bend, Mary Vey of Cedarburg, CJ Hoffmann of Cedarburg, Alyssa Vey of Port Washington and Brady Vey of Cedarburg, great-grandmother of: Ian, Daniel, Andrew and Sophia, Timothy, sister of: Donald (Marie) Adee of Green Bay and Richard Adee of West Bend, further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Adee. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Francis Borgia Church followed by burial in the church cemetery. Doris worked at a number different jobs in Cedarburg throughout her life. Besides a strong work ethic, she was a person of deep faith with a special devotion to praying the Rosary. Doris loved to spend time with her family, reading, and loved to feed and watch the birds outside her window.
