Mrs. Doris M. Lorge of Port Washington and formerly of Belgium passed away Tuesday December 13 2011 at Sarah Chudnow Community in Mequon. She was 90 years old. Doris was born October 25 1921 in Little Kohler the daughter of Edward and Otillia Koller Meyer . On April 19 1941 she was united in marriage with Elmer Theisen at St. Mary Lake Church. He preceded her in death in 1983. On May 13 1991 she was united in marriage with Gordon Lorge at St. Mary Lake Church. He preceded her in death in 2010. Mrs. Lorge was a longtime member of St. Mary Lake Church where she was active with the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed gardening generously volunteering her time and being with her family. Earlier this year Doris was able to gather together with her children grandchildren and great-grandchildren at a family reunion. Her family will forever cherish the memories from this gathering. Doris is survived by her children: Bob (Agnes) Theisen of MN Kay (John) Kleckner of PW and Sue (Dan) Last of MI. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren 3 step-children 5 step-grandchildren 2 step-great-grandchildren nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands Elmer and Gordon brother Arnold Meyer and sister Lorraine Depies. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1PM on Friday December 16 at St. Mary Lake Church 6092 Lake Church Road Belgium. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 11AM-1PM. Doris will be laid to rest at the parish cemetery beside Elmer. In lieu of flowers and memorials please fulfill a random act of kindness in Doris' memory.
