DORIS M. BRANDT Mrs. Doris Brandt currently residing at Belgium Gardens formerly ofnbsp; South Willow Court in Grafton Lasata Heights in Cedarburg and Commerce Dr. innbsp;Cedar Grove passed away at Belgium Gardensnbsp;Saturday evening December 6 2008.nbsp; She was 86 years old.nbsp; Doris was born in Eau Claire on July 24 1922 daughter of Marshall and Rosella Field Hanson.nbsp; She was raised by her mother and her step-father Martin Ellingson.nbsp; They have both preceded her in death.nbsp; Doris was united in marriage on August 13 1941 with Harold M. Brandt in Stillwater MN.nbsp;nbsp;He preceded her in death on January 8 2004.nbsp; Mrs. Brandt was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton where she participated in the Quilters Circle.nbsp; She was also a member of the Rose Harms American Legion Auxiliary.nbsp; Doris enjoyed playing Bingo doing needlework writing poetry and bird-watching.nbsp;nbsp;Throughout her life shenbsp;was a lady who loved to playfully cause trouble and brought many hearty laughs with her wherever she went.nbsp; She is survived by her five children: Larry (Mary) Brandt of Roseville MN Linda (Gordon) Olson of Saukville Sally Johnson of St. Paul MN Toni (Robert) Schommer of Cedar Grovenbsp;and Rena (Larry) Sieracki of Fredonia. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren numerous great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by her husband Haroldnbsp;grandson Thomas Schommer and brother Arthur Hanson.nbsp; Funeral Services will be held onnbsp;Friday Dec. 12 11AM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N. Royal Ave. (Hwy LL amp; Park Street) in Belgium.nbsp; She will be placed to rest with her husbandnbsp;at Woodlawn Cemetery innbsp;Grafton.
