Donna Maher of Grafton formerly of Port Washington passed away at her residence in the early morning hours of Monday February 23 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was 64 years old. Donna was born in Milwaukee on July 30 1950 daughter of John Steuer and Doris Schaefer Steuer. On May 23 1970 she married Richard Maher in Milwaukee. Donna worked as an emergency room unit secretary at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington and later at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon retiring in 2011. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family card club going to movies and playing bingo. She is survived by her husband Richard of Grafton two sons Michael (Niki) Maher of Grafton and Brian Maher of Sheboygan. She is further survived by three grandchildren: Hadleigh Maris and Aiden her sister Sandi (Dennis Schmidt) Pire of Largo FL nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 28th at 1 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Pastor Don Drollinger of the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Port Washington will preside over the service. She will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation will take place on Saturday February 28th at the funeral home from 11 AM - 1 PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to serve the family.
