Don Westby of Cedarburg passed away at Aurora Medical Center-Grafton on Monday, November 22, 2021. He was 78 years old. Don was born in Grand Rapids, MI. Son of Arthur and Dagmar (Arntzen) Westby, he graduated from Escanaba High School, before continuing his education at Western Michigan University where he played football. On November 18, 1967, Don was united in marriage with Linda Sundelius at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Escanaba, MI. The couple was blessed with two children and raised their family in Grafton, WI. Don started his fastener business, Westby Production Components, in 1987 and retired in 2013. Don was a long-time active member of Grace Lutheran Church, a past Commodore of Port Washington Yacht Club, and former president of the National Fastener Distributors Association. He enjoyed sailing and collecting antique cars. He was also a member of the Wisconsin Street Rod Association and Badgerland S-Gaugers model railroading club. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Linda of Cedarburg, son Matthew (Lisa) Westby of Santa Cruz, CA, daughter Pamela Westby of Minneapolis, MN and granddaughter Audrey Westby of Brooklyn, NY. He is further survived by his sister Sue Wasalaski, as well as other family and countless close friends. Don is preceded in death by his parents. Don will always be remembered for his gift of gab with friends and strangers alike. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM on Saturday, May 14th at Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton. The family will recieve visitors at CHURCH from 9AM until services begin at 11AM. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
