Donald P. Simonis of Port Washington passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday May 14, 2018 at the age of 73. He was born to Karl Sr. and Diane (nee Gull) Simonis on October 14, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI. In Donald's earlier years he spent much time fishing all over Wisconsin and throughout his life he had a passion for classic cars and NASCAR racing. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, The Milwaukee Bucks, The Brewers and UW-Madison Badgers. Donald was a foreman and worked at Briggs & Stratton for over 22 years. Donald moved to Port Washington to be closer to his family after overcoming many obstacles in his life. He will be missed by his close friends and family. Donald is survived by his sons, Karl (Lynn) Simonis, Kirk (Kandace) Simonis and Chad Simonis. He is further survived by his grandchildren, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Karl Jr. Donald's Inurnment will take place at Union Cemetery, Port Washington.
