DONALD K. MESKE Mr. Don Meske of Oostburg passed away peacefully at his residence Friday evening February 25th 2011.nbsp; He was 83 years old.nbsp; Donald was born in Milwaukee on July 27 1927 son of Valentine and Viola Mueller Meske.nbsp; A graduate of East Division High School with the Class of 1945 he went into the US Navy later that year.nbsp; Following his service Don was united in marriage with Dorothy Bartlein at Mother of Perpetual Help in Milwaukee on May 20 1950.nbsp; The couple lived in Milwaukee before moving to Mequon.nbsp; Don owned and operated Port Mequon Service Station in Mequon and later Mequon Lawn and Garden.nbsp; He retired in 1983. A member of Americarsquo;s greatest generation the most important thing in his life was family.nbsp; He enjoyed vacations and travelled the country.nbsp; Don loved to walk the beaches and retired with his wife Dorothy on a Lake Michigan beach where many lasting memories were formed with friends family and especially his grandchildren.nbsp; Mr. Meske is survived by his wife their three children: Thomas (Pam ) Meske of Cedarburg Mark (Carol) Meske of Sussex and Gayle (Tim) Buege also of Cedarburg.nbsp; He is further survived by seven grandchildren: Sarah Mike Liz Lori Kelsey Josh and Chris one sister Delores Browncroft of Texas nieces nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Thomas.nbsp; A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday March 12 at St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church.nbsp; Father James Vojtik will officiate.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday from 10-11 AM.nbsp; Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to St. Nicholas Hospital Hospice Sheboygan.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Don's family wishes to express theirnbsp;thanks to St. Nicholas Hospital Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.br /Service:br /p11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church County Road D and Lake Church Road Belgium WI 53004 on March 12 2011 (a href=http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?city=Belgiumamp;state=WIamp;address=County Road D and Lake Church Roadamp;zip=53004amp;country=usamp;zoom=8 target=_blankmap/driving directions/a)/p
