DONALD A. GANTNER Mr. Donald Gantner of Hwy K in Random Lake passed away Sunday evening April 9 2006 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan. He was 72 years old. Don Ginny was born in Holy Cross on July 5 1933 son of Leo and Genevieve Wellenstein Gantner. He was united in marriage with Valerie Krzeminski on April 26 1958 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada. Mr. Gantner had worked at Gehl Co. in West Bend in the maintenance department. He retired in 1995 after over 30 years with the company. Don was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish a loyal member of the AFL-CIO and the Hexelbank Club. He enjoyed hunting fishing in Canada golfing and woodworking. He also spent time gardening bird-watching and just being outside enjoying nature. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Valerie and their three children: Craig (Anna) Gantner of Fergus Falls MN Cathie Gantner-Overmyer MD (Craig Overmyer) of River Forest IL and Chris (Lisa) of Reading PA. He is further survived by 5 grandchildren: Timothy Lauren Kate Genevieve and Julia 2 brothers: Vernon Gantner of Random Lake and Virgil (Shirley) Gantner of Fredonia nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Ambrose and Kenneth. Mass of Christian Burials will be held Wednesday April 12 7:30 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery Random Lake. The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday from 4:30-7:30PM. Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family.
