Donald Mitchell of Random Lake passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday September 6 2013 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. He was 70 years old. Donald was born in Clark County on June 14 1943 son of Daniel Mitchell and Joyce Gilman Mitchell. He attended school in the Random Lake area graduating from Random Lake High School in 1962. On February 8 1964 he married Karen Schneider at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Random Lake. Donald worked as a setup man for West Bend Co. Bolens Manufacturing and Kapco Corp. until he became ill. He also enjoyed hog and dairy farming for over 20 years. Donald was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish in Random Lake. He enjoyed fishing on the Mississippi River with the occasional casino stops. Donald was an early riser enjoying a cup of coffee and conversation at the local restaurants. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids supporting them in everything they did. He will hold a special place in all their hearts. Donald is survived by his best friend Karen Mitchell of Adell five children: Howard (Janice) Mitchell of Adell Pamela (Rodney) Ravanelli of Mequon Joanne (Roger) Lange of Campbellsport Karla (Paul) Putnam of Marathon and Ellie (Tim) Gruman of Fredonia. He is further survived by 18 grandkids: Jared Bryan and Sarah Mitchell Jordan Taylor and Lawson Jandre Hannah Parker and Brady Lange Lauren Mitchell Mason Lena Lindsay and Max Putnam and Sydney Ashley and Lexi Gruman one great-grandchild Sean Jandre one brother Konrad (Cathy) Mitchell of Shawano three sisters; Maureen (Robert) DeYoung of Fond du Lac Sharon (Marvin) Frasier of Adell and Roxanne (John) Boogren of Shawano nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother Nora Mitchell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 11th 6 PM at Divine Savior Parish - Holy Cross Chapel 5330 Highway B Belgium. Father Todd Budde will be presiding. Visitation will take place at the CHURCH Wednesday September 11th from 3-6 PM. He will be inurned at St. Mary's Parish Cemetery Random Lake.
