DONALD P. BURMESCH SR. Mr. Donald Burmesch Sr. of County Road B in the Town of Belgium passed away at his residence early Sunday morning July 1st 2007. He was 75 years old. Don was born on April 10 1932 on the family farm son of Frank and Katherine Watry Burmesch. He attended school at St. Nicholas in Dacada. Don was united in marriage with Mary Helen Lesch at Holy Cross Catholic Church on May 16th 1953. The couple farmed in the Town of Belgium and Don also worked as a grinder at the Heatwole Foundry in Knellsville for 22 years. After retiring from the farm Mr. Burmesch enjoyed golfing woodworking and fishing. He was a member of Holy Rosary Parish. Don is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary Helen their children: Debra (Steven) Schanen of Grafton Pamela (Jeff ) Uselding-Plier Donald (Darlene) Burmesch Jr. both of Belgium and the late Jeffrey Pudgy (Colleen Burmesch of Port Washington). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren 2 sisters: Mary Hicks of Oconomowoc and Lorena Burmesch of Saukville 2 brothers: Wilfred (Julianne) Burmesch of Grafton and Gerald (Judy) Burmesch of Iola nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Jeffrey son-in-law Gerald George Uselding and 5 brothers: Herb Clarence Roman Richard and Alex. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 6th at 7PM at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada. Fr. Richard Cerpich and Fr. James Ernster will concelebrate.
