Donald C. Block passed away peacefully on Sunday March 24, 2024 at the age of 78. He was born in Milwaukee to Edward and Maxine (nee Leisch) Block on May 22, 1945. On January 5, 1980, Don was united in marriage with Louise Brukwitzki and together they have 2 children.

Don was a graduate of Custer High School in Milwaukee. He then proudly served in the United States Air Force. He achieved a pilot license and enjoyed flying. He dedicated his professional career to the United States Postal Service and retired in 2005. Don worked part-time at NAPA Auto Parts for 13 years in retirement.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton and played on their dart ball league for many years. Don appreciated the outdoors and enjoyed both hunting and fishing. He treasured the time fishing in muskie tournaments with his son, and other family and friends. He also enjoyed playing golf and taking long walks. When he wasn't outdoors, Don could be found cheering on his favorite players from the Packers, Badgers, and Bucks along with watching his game shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Don's memory will be forever cherished by his devoted wife Louise, his loving children Richard (Laura) Block and Michelle Block; adored grandson Theodore; brother Ronald Block. He is further survived by niece Cindy Vande Leest, nephews Steve and Robert Block, other family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Maxine and his sister-in-law Doris Block.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton, WI 53024. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00am-1:00pm.
