DONALD F. ANSAY Mr. Donald Ansay formerly of the Town of Belgium passed away early Friday morning April 15 2011 at Cedar Grove Gardens where he had been residing for the last few years.nbsp; He was 86 years old.nbsp; Donald was born in the Town of Belgium on August 27 1924 son of Joseph and Mary ldquo;Lenardquo; Johann Ansay.nbsp; He attended St. Mary School in Lake Church.nbsp; Mr. Ansay purchased the family farm in 1948.nbsp; After meeting at Weilerrsquo;s Ballroom he was later joined in marriage with Eleanor Holz on May 13 1950 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg.nbsp; The couple settled on the farm and raised their family.nbsp; Donald was a member of National Farmers Organization as well as a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church where he was an enthusiastic usher for over 50 years.nbsp; He loved to farm and enjoyed going to farm auctions. In his spare time he went deer hunting and bowling.nbsp; Mr. Ansay was very social and loved to tell stories.nbsp; His family was very important to him and he enjoyed attending his grandchildrenrsquo;s sporting events.nbsp; Donald is survived by his wife Eleanor and their three daughters: Karen (the late Michael) McCulloch of Minneapolis MN Nancy (Ron) Bahling of Greenfield and Bonnie (Ray) Lapinski of the Town of Belgium as well as 8 grandchildren: Nick amp; Kelly McCulloch Jessica amp; Jennifer Bahling Joseph Matthew Gregory and Jeanette Lapinski.nbsp; He is further survived by 4 sisters: Dolores (the late Henry) Kowalski of Cedar Grove Mary (Dick) Neerhof of Port Washington Pearl (Robert) Houston of Tomahawk and Loretta (the late James) Croatt of Port Washington sister-in-law Elaine Ansay of Beaver Dam nieces nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his son Russell Ansay brother Harvey Ansay and sister Marcella (the late Don) Wittkopp.nbsp; Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 19 leaving the Funeral Home at 2PM and going to St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church for Mass at 2:30 Pm.nbsp; Fr. Richard Fleischman will officiate.nbsp; He will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N.
