On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, Dolores Carol Johnson (Lingenfelder) of Cedarburg, WI, proud Mother of 3, grandmother of 12, and very recent great grandmother, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at age ninety.

Born to Frederick and Viola Lingenfelder (Seeger), Dolores grew up and lived in Milwaukee and graduated from North Division high school. On September 10, 1955, she married Ronald W. Johnson at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Milwaukee). They shared a happy and fun-filled marriage, living first in Milwaukee and then in Cedarburg until his passing in 2003. A mother first, Dolores' professional life was as a travel agent at AAA Travel and then Carlson Wagonlit, and she was blessed with traveling the world before retiring. She continued her working life in the Office of Terrace Realty until her illness in February. She loved attending her grandchildren's events, and enjoyed traveling, attending the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Milwaukee Repertory Theater performances, and especially valued all her time at First Immanuel Lutheran Church. Dolores was a loving and faith-filled woman who made her own way in life, living independently until her death.

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ronald W. Johnson.

She is survived by her daughters Lynda Johnson, Laura (Duey) Stroebel, and Susan (Rod) Copes. Dolores is also survived by her grandchildren Spencer Stroebel, Maggie (Keegan) English, Trevor, Stewart, Mitchell, Lewis, Wesley, and Mary Stroebel and by Fritz, Karl, Greta, and Elsa Copes; great grandson John (Jack) English; brother Frederick Lingenfelder, and numerous extended family and dear loving friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28th from 2PM to 4PM with a church service to follow, all at First Immanual Lutheran Church, W67N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg, WI 53012.

She will be laid to rest the following day at Zur Ruhe Cemetery.
