Mrs. Dixie Johnson age 74 years of Saukville passed away on Saturday January 18 2014 at Lawlis Hospice in Mequon. She was born December 14 1939 in Wabeno WI daughter of Clem and Kathleen Kielman Kostuch. She was a 1957 graduate of Wabeno High School. On June 7 1958 she married Kentwood Johnson in Whitefish Bay. Dixie was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Grafton the Saukville Moose Lodge and enjoyed gardening and spending time at the family cabin in Carter. She is survived by her husband two children Richard (Mary) Johnson and Susan Johnson both of Saukville her mother Kathleen (John) Maves of Crivitz five grandchildren Jesse (Meghan) Johnson Emily Johnson Terese Sackett Brittany (Brian) DeWindt and Cody Wallock six great grandchildren two sisters Sharon (Eugene) Schramm and Connie Maves both of Crivitz and her brother Marshall (Dee Dee) Kostuch of Porterfield WI other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday January 26 2 PM at Pilgrim United Church of Christ 1621 2nd Ave. Grafton. Visitation at the CHURCH Sunday from 1 PM until time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials to Pilgrim United Church of Christ or Oscar Grady Library appreciated. The Eernisse Funeral Home and Cremation Service Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
