Diane Schneider, age 79, passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2023, at the Harbor Club of Port Washington.

She was born in Park Falls on April 8th, 1944, to Casey and Dorothy Novak (nee Pease). Diane grew up in Ladysmith, WI and graduated from Ladysmith High School.

Diane's witty and strong-willed personality touched the lives of many throughout her life. Diane shared her faith by attending bible study and services at Friedens Church in Port Washington.

She enjoyed playing solitaire, listening to audiobooks, and was known for her love of fashion - always making sure her nails were done and her hair was fixed.

During 1968-1971, Diane owned and operated a dress boutique in Kiel, WI. In Ladysmith, she worked in retail sales for several years, and many years later, she became a District Manager at Fashion Bug - style and fashion were definitely her strengths. After retiring from retail, she became an activity director at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington.

Diane's legacy lives on through her loving family. She will be dearly missed by her children Shannon, Sandy and Scot; her grandchildren, Austyn, Blaine and Kendra; and many others. She is further survived by her brother, Randy Novak (Cathy).

Diane will be remembered for her spirit of adventure, her love for travel and her love of life that she shared with everyone around her. She will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts. The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Harbor Club and Lily Hospice for their kindness and care throughout her journey.

To honor and celebrate Diane, a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 10th, from 1pm – 4pm at The Patio, 601 N Wisconsin St. in Port Washington.
