Diane E. Kasten, age 67 passed away at her home on Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was born on May 30, 1950 to Harry and Marge Wiegert. Diane was a dedicated and loving mother. In her free time she enjoyed displaying her creativity, whether it be through her painting, drawing, photography or music. In her childhood Diane took piano lessons and later in life expanded her passion by learning to play the guitar. Diane volunteered her time at the Ozaukee County Humane Society, which was a perfect fit considering she had a love for all animals. Diane is survived by her son Jesse Kasten, daughter Kittie Kasten, brother Don (Robin) Wiegert, brothers-in-law Glen Kasten and Gary (Margaret) Kasten. She is preceded in death by her husband Clyde Kasten, parents Harry and Marge Wiegert and sister-in-law Rose Marie Kasten. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI 53074 at 12:00 NOON. Rev. Linda Westphal-Buth will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM. Diane will be interred next to her husband Clyde at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg immediately following the service.
