Obituary

Diane S. Haskey Mrs. Diane Haskey of Winnebago Park in Fond du Lac, formerly of Fredonia, went home to God and all of her special angels Friday morning, October 16, 2015 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was 72 years old. Diane was born August 20, 1943 in Port Washington, the daughter of Elmer and Elsie (nee Strauss) Wetor. On November 3, 1962, she was united in marriage with William "Bill" Haskey at St. Rose Catholic Church in Fredonia. The couple raised their family in the Fredonia area and moved to Winnebago Park on the east shore of Lake Winnebago near Fond du Lac in 2009. Diane was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, and a former member of Holy Rosary Parish in Fredonia. In addition to being an extraordinary wife, mother & grandmother, Diane loved Winnebago Park, her accordion music and excelled at cooking, sewing and embroidery. Over the years, Mrs. Haskey was also a licensed Real Estate broker and insurance agent. Diane was the beloved wife of William " Bill" Haskey of Fond du Lac and the cherished mother of Lynn (Tom) Horvatin of Elm Grove, Lisa (Ken) Pence of Fredonia, Richard (Margie) Haskey of Franklin, and Ann (Dan) Olstinske of New Berlin. She was the proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren: Jessica, Mark, Steve, Scott, Mitchell, Evan, Erik, Kayla, Will and Abigail. She is further survived by brother Allen (Sue) Wetor of West Bend, sister-in-law Rosemary Haskey of Fredonia, aunt Doris Theisen of AZ, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer Wetor and Elsie & Everett Deppiesse. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 5PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Divine Savior Parish, St. Rose Chapel, 305 Fredonia Ave. in Fredonia. Mass will be celebrated by Father Neil Zinthefer. The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday from 2-5PM. Diane will be laid to rest at St. Rose Cemetery in Fredonia. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Divine Savior School (formerly Rosemary School) in Fredonia or Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
