Diane Dineen, of Grafton, formerly of Mequon, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. She was 63 years old. Diane was born in Milwaukee on June 7, 1956, daughter of Lawrence Ciske and Bertha Krueger Ciske. She grew up in Mequon and graduated from Homestead High School with the class of 1974. On March 9, 1974, she married Terry Dineen at St. Cecelia in Thiensville.
Diane worked for over 25 years as a teacher at KinderCare in Cedarburg, retiring in 2013. She enjoyed spending time with her family, collecting Winnie the Pooh memorabilia, reading romance novels, and traveling with her family. Terry and Diane loved cruising and have visited well over 20 countries.
She is survived by her husband Terry of Grafton and her two sons Michael (Kari) Dineen of Baraboo and Scott (Dawn) Dineen of Racine. She is further survived by four grandchildren: Aiden, Taylor, Abigail and Benjamin, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 at 2 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. Deacon Mike Burch will preside over the service. Visitation will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday the 4th from 12-2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
