Dennis Roos, of Saukville, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, October 22, 2018, at his residence. He was 69 years old.
Dennis was born in Port Washington on June 18, 1949, son of Warren Roos and Geraldine Culver Roos.
He worked as a machinist for many local companies, including Cramer Coil for 18 years. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing. One of Dennis's passions was passing on his knowledge of hunting and fishing to the next generation.
Dennis was united in marriage on August 19, 2005 in Port Washington to Kim Laabs.
Dennis is survived by his wife Kim of Saukville, his previous wife Jean Roos of Port Washington, his children Marie Van Treeck of West Bend, Geno Balistreri of Random Lake, and Cory Laabs of Saukville. He is further survived by his brothers Dave Roos of West Bend and Dale Roos of Saukville, Six grandchildren: Dominic, Eric, Sabrina, Vinny, Rosa and Noah, five great-grandchildren: Bella, Trey, Luciano, Eric Jr., and Shi'Ann, nieces and nephews: Carey (Joe) Piatek, Tina Roos, Chuck Roos, and Michael Wargo, great-nieces: Chantel, Hailey, Kayla, Olivia, and Hannah, step-siblings: Richard (Tammy), Maple, Sherry, and Peggy (Daniel), special cousin Renae Roos, and friend Mark Trice, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Daniel Roos, niece Nikki Roos, and his step-mother Ellie Mae Roos, and his pal Anthony Fortino.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 27th at 11 AM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Rev. Marshal Frisque of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fredonia, will preside over the service. Visitation will take place prior to the service at the Funeral Home from 10-11 AM. A reception will follow the service at the Railroad Station in Saukville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or St. John's Lutheran Church in Fredonia.
