Dennis L. Koller Dennis Leslie Koller: Age 56 of rural Marengo WI passed away Tuesday April 12 2005 at his residence. Dennis was born Jan. 25 1949 in Milwaukee WI the son of Donald A. and Ida A. (Gutsmiedl) Koller. He grew up on the east side of Milwaukee with his seven sisters Gloria Nancy Lois Eileen Beverly Gerry and Karen. Dennis entered the military in 1966 and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam through 1969. After the Army Dennis tried his hand at a few trades before settling on his profession in the Heating and Air Conditioning business through Local #18 Sheet Metal Workers Union. He was proud of his work at Auer Heating and Air Conditioning. The job he was most proud of was his work as a member of the team that built Miller Stadium for the Milwaukee Brewers. Dennis was married for 28 years to his former wife Debbie and had three beautiful children Timothy Jeremy and Mariah. They were his heart and soul. Although he didn't always show it he was very proud of all three of them. He moved his family to Saukville WI in 1985 where he enjoyed raising his family and loved his home. He then was blessed with four grandchildren Justin Johanna Georgette and Donald James. They easily learned what a soft heart he had for kids and made the most of it. Dennis was not only a loving and exceptional father and grandfather he had a very big heart and was always willing to help whenever he could for a lot of people. He was an avid fisherman and looked forward to his days on the pier in Port Washington for smelt fishing or angling. In the winter his favorite pastime was ice fishing. He also had a passion for hunting; anything from small game to fowl to large game. He felt so at peace when he was out on his land by Marengo. Dennis was survived by his mother Ida A. Koller; his children Timothy (Heather) Jeremy and Mariah; his grandchildren Justin Johanna Georgette and Donald James and his former wife Debbie. He was also the beloved brother to Gloria (Michael) Czaplewski Nancy (the late Gary) Rands Lois (the late Larry) Bielinski Eileen (Keith) Kosanke Beverly (Steven) Krause Gerry (Paul) Gliszinski and Karen (Mark) St. George; and former brother-in-law to Larry Heffner Dale Heffner Wendy (Donald) Krueger Steven (Jane) Heffner Jill (Dana) Jaeger and Lori (David) Kolaga. He was also survived by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Donald A. Koller. A Memorial Service will take place on Sunday April 24 2005 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W.
