Obituary

Mr. Dennis Doege of South Main Street in Cedar Grove passed away at Froedtert Hospital on Saturday May 3 2008 following an unexpected tragedy at his home. He was 61 years old. Dennis was born in Waukesha on January 18 1947 son of Frank and A. Ruth Schneck Doege. The family settled in the Waubeka area where Dennis grew up. After he finished school Dennis worked on the Kahn farm until he started working at Doerr Electric in Grafton. He worked as a machinist at Doerr and then Leeson Electric until he retired due to health reasons in 1997. Dennis was united in marriage with Sharon Shilts on October 29 1977 in Little Kohler. The couple lived in Little Kohler Lake Church and Random Lake before settling in Cedar Grove in 1992. Mr. Doege was a former Meals on Wheels volunteer and a former member of the Waubeka Fire Department. Dennis loved the outdoors and spending time in nature. He enjoyed gardening fishing and feeding the birds. He was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and liked Harley Davidison motorcycles. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Sharon of Cedar Grove their two sons: Dion of St. Francis and Bradley of Cedar Grove. He is further survived by a sister Lea (Doug) Zimdars of Fredonia and brother-in-law Hugh Wingard parents-in-law Richard and Dorothy Shilts of Crivitz brothers- and- sisters ndash; in-law nieces nephews other relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents sister Karen Wingard and brother Ronald Doege. The family will receive visitors on Saturday May 10th 2008 at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium171 N. Royal Ave. (Hwy LL and Park St.) from 2-4 PM for a Gathering of Friendship. The Doege family wishes to thank all of the Emergency Response workers and medical providers for all of their assistance.
