Deborah "Debbie" A. Hosler (nee Threlkeld) passed away unexpectedly on
Wednesday, March 8, 2017. She was 66 years old. Debbie was born in
Montgomery Alabama on August 28, 1950 to Aubry and Lora (nee Jones)
Threlkeld. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey L. Hosler on August 9, 1975 in
Gwinn, Michigan.
Debbie and her husband Jeff and their children lived in various places
throughout the United States during Jeff's career and ultimately settled in
Cedarburg where they have resided since 1993. Debbie was a southerner at
heart and truly enjoyed the family trip to the beach every summer with her
sisters, brother, and their families which was a tradition since 1983. Debbie
served as President of the youth hockey association in Florida when her family
lived there and actively participated in her children's sports and other activities
throughout the years. Debbie became a stay at home mom for 16 years after
Jennifer was born and then went on to work for Cardinal Health and lastly 11
years at Tecumseh Products Company before the company closing in 2009. She
acquired many lasting friendships during her years at work. Above all, Debbie
found great enjoyment being with and caring for her family. She was a devoted
wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband Jeff Hosler, daughter Jenny Hosler, son
Jeremy (Kaitlin) Hosler, grandchildren: Landon Kusko, Emerson "Emmy" Hosler
and one more on the way, brother Aubry H. Threlkeld Jr., sisters: Joan K.
(William) Mears and Jan E. (Samuel) Watson, brother-in-law Jonathan P. Hosler,
sister-in-law Lynda R. (Ron) Klug. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents
and sister-in-law Susan Hosler.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 23 at Crossroads
Presbyterian Church 6031 W. Chapel Hill Road Mequon, WI 53097. Pastor Chris
Spotts will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church from 3:00PM
until the time of the service at 4:00PM. Continued fellowship will take place immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests
memorial donations to Family Sharing www.familysharingozaukee.org . The
Eernisse Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
