Obituary

DEAN R. HALLS Mr. Dean Halls of Tower Drive in Port Washington passed away Monday evening May 7th 2007 at Columbia-St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus in Mequon. He was 55 years old. Dean was born in Stambaugh MI son of Ward and Lucille Johns Halls. He graduated from Northern Michigan University Class of 1974 with a degree in accounting. Mr. Halls was united in marriage with Lorraine Zavada in Stambaugh on September 11 1971. The couple moved to Port Washington in 1979. Dean spent 25 years working in the telephone industry as an accountant before becoming a realtor with Realty Executives in Milwaukee five years ago. He was a member of First Congregational Church in Port Washington had sat on the Board of Directors of the Ozaukee County Volunteer Center and had been a volunteer for the Aplastic Anemia Myelodyplastic Syndrome Foundation. Dean was known for a good sense of humor and enjoyed golfing hunting fishing spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine of Port Washington their children Lynn (Mike) Baierl of Saukville and Craig (Amy) Halls of Sherwood WI and was the proud Didi of Amanda Adam Ethan Baierl of Saukville and Evan Owen Halls of Sherwood. He is further survived by his mother Lucille Halls of Iron River MI twin sister Jean (Gary) Gollakner of Ontonogan MI mother-in-law Bev Zavada of Ishpeming MI brother-in-law Larry (Deb) Zavada of Wolford ND and sister-in-law Lisa (Clark) Gravedoni also of Ishpeming MI. Mr. Halls is further survived by aunts uncles cousins nieces nephews other relatives and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ward and his father-in-law Ken Zavada. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday May 10 6PM at the First Congregational Church 131 N. Webster St. Port Washington. Pastor Jeff Suddendorf will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 4-6PM. Memorials are suggested in Dean's name to the Aplastic Anemia Myelodyplastic Syndrome Foundation. br /Service:br /6:00 PM at 131 N.
