Dean F. Rogers of Port Washington formerly of Madison and Albuquerque NM passed away Monday evening August 20 2012 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 81 years old. Dean was born March 14 1931 in Madison to Frances V. Rogers. For many years Dean worked as a truck driver in Albuquerque. In 1989 he moved to Port Washington where he married Florence Reese (nee Christenson) on December 6 2001. The couple enjoyed traveling around the state including trips to Sheboygan and Door County. While living in Port Washington Dean worked at Ozaukee Bank. The couple enjoyed traveling around the state including trips to Sheboygan and Door County. At Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Dean enjoyed music activities attending religion services and being around other people. Dean is survived by his wife Florence of Port Washington 2 step-daughters: Diana (Ted) Rittberg of Grafton and Marcia (Dave) Brunner of Theresa other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday August 24 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. The family will receive visitors on Friday at the funeral home from 1-1:30. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
