David James Ziegelbauer "Ziggy" of Shorewood was called to his heavenly home on Saturday December 2, 2023 at the age of 35. David was born on August 17, 1988 to Bob and Jill (Moriarity) Ziegelbauer. He grew up in Cedarburg and graduated from Cedarburg High School in 2006. He was a dedicated employee at Costco in Grafton for 16 years.

David is survived by his parents Bob and Jill of Cedarburg, his three sisters Jessica (Billy) Campolo of Cedarburg, Carrie (Eric Pommer) Holiday of Manitowoc, Kristin (Mark) Cedarstaff of Savannah, Georgia, his nieces and nephews John and Lucy Campolo, Mackenzie Valoe-Ziegelbauer, and Warren Pommer. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

David was a gentle, kind and loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a talented skateboarder and a passionate Milwaukee Bucks and Green Bay Packers fan. He loved fishing, especially with his "Pops" and friends at the family cabin in Lakewood, WI.

The family will receive visitors at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave, Cedarburg WI on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 11:00am-2:00pm followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm.
