Daniel L. Grotkiewicz Daniel Grotkiewicz age 65 years of Grafton passed away at his residence on Saturday June 8 2013 after being stricken with pancreatic cancer. He was born July 7 1947 in Milwaukee son of the late Chester and Emily Trawicki Grotkiewicz. Dan served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. On September 17 1977 he married Carol Ann Surges at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. He worked as a production machinist at PACE Industries formerly EST Company in Grafton for the past 33 years. Dan was a member and past commander of the Saukville American Legion Post 470 and a former member and past commander of Cedarburg American Legion. He enjoyed photography model railroading and spending time with his family and his dog Hoover. Survivors include his wife Carol Ann his children Mark of Grafton and Sarah of Cedarburg his brother Alan (Linda) Grotkiewicz of Glendale his mother in law Bertha Surges of Fredonia sister in law Linda (John) Spangler of Illinois nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral Thursday eve. June 13 7 PM at Advent Lutheran Church W63 N642 Washington Ave. Cedarburg followed by military honors. Visitation at the CHURCH Thursday from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated. The Eernisse Funeral Home Cedarburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
