Daniel C. Harp of Fredonia, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. He was 78. Daniel was born to Herman and Ethel (nee Keen) Harp on August 7, 1939 in Antigo, WI. He married his first wife, the late Mary Jackson and together they had one daughter. Daniel later married Mary Zinda Dettmann and they were wed sixteen years. Daniel retired from Chrysler Corporation after 42 years of dedicated service. After retirement he worked for Home Depot and loved going to his job every day. He was a member of the Lion's Club of Fredonia and the Crooked Lake Sports Club. Many of Daniel's fondest memories were spent in Cascade, WI at his trailer, camping, fishing, boating and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Daniel is survived by his wife Mary, his daughter Jennifer (fiancé Danny Alliss) Harp; grandson, Adam Alliss; step-daughters, Carla (TJ) Christopherson, Lori (Bill) Jennaro; step-granchildren, Justin, Wesley (Jocelyn), Alyssa, Nick and Lauren; step-great-grandaughter, McKenzie Rose. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty; brothers, John (Jack), Don, Jerry and Chuck. Private family services will be held.
