Daniel L. Dean Daniel Lee Dean 56 of Galesville Wisconsin formerly of Random Lake died unexpectedly on Tuesday September 27 2005 in Galesville. He was born on April 11 1949 in Sheboygan County the son of Dolores Funk and Robert Dean. He attended Batavia Elementary School and Random Lake High School. After high school he stayed in the area and had two beautiful children Sharon and Benjamin. He worked for Wilk Furniture for many years. On August 1 1992 he married Linda Leider and his family grew to five children. In 2001 Dan and Linda Dean left Random Lake to try a new profession - owning their own business The Sonic Motel in Galesville. Dan was a hard worker who loved spending time with family friends and watching Matt Kenseth on television. To family Dan was strong sensitive loving and dedicated. To friends Dan was a motorcycle man funny and kind. Survivors include: a beautiful wife Linda Leider Dean of Galesville one daughter Sharon (fianc Jeff) Plaman of Port Washington; one son Benjamin (DeAnne) Dean of Sheboygan; one step-son Joseph (Monica) Fahney of Random Lake two step-daughters Theresa (friend Josh) Fahney of Grafton and Sarah (John) Feider of Random Lake. He had four exceptional grandchildren; Mackenzie Adam Alex Damon and new baby Cora. Survivors also include his sister Judy Maechtle of Fredonia and one brother James (Jean) Dean of Plymouth along with many nieces nephews great-nieces great-nephews family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Delores Funk father Robert Dean step-father Joseph Funk and brother Dave Emley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 1 2005 at 3 PM at Zion United Methodist Church N1667 Highway 28 in Batavia with Pastor Gail Mitchell officiating.
