Daniel "Dan" Arthur Chesak, age 65 years, of Saukville, passed away peacefully at home on July 7, 2025.
Dan was born on February 23, 1960, in West Bend, Wisconsin, the son of the late John "Jack" C. Chesak and Beverly (nee Haut) Chesak. Dan attended the West Bend School District. On April 30, 1988, he was united in marriage to Susan Bade at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum, Wisconsin. Dan worked in maintenance at Ataco Steel Products. His career spanned over 40 years until he retired in 2018.
Dan was a member of Newburg Athletic Club. He participated in pool league and trap shooting. During his lifetime he enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and riding his Harley Davidson. Dan loved working on cars, being a handyman extraordinaire, always being able to fix anything and everything.
Those Dan leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 37 years, Sue, his siblings, Debbie (Randy) Schladweiler, John (Sue) Chesak, Kathy (Al) Wollner, Mark (Rena) Chesak, Rose (Steve) Dargo, Marty (Sandy) Chesak, and Lisa (Mike) Northrop, sisters-in-law Judy (Rich) Rusch, and Barb (Kevin) Strand, and brother-in-law David (Susan) Bade. Dan is also further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his father-in-law Walter Bade, mother-in-law Phyllis Bade, and sister-in-law Karen Dezso.
Per Dan's wishes, there will be no services held.
Memorials in Dan's name can be made to the Newburg Fire Department (508 Main Street Newburg, WI 53060) or a charity of your choice.
