Obituary

CURTIS E. SCHULTZ Mr. Kurt Schultz recently of Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg formerly of Grafton passed away at Lasata on Friday May 27 2005. He was 81 years old. Kurt was born on Milwaukee on January 29 1924 son of Arthur and Mary Schaefner Schultz. After his service as a medic in the US ARMY during World War II he was united in marriage with Lillian Thole on July 2 1947 in Dubuque IA. The couple eventually settled in the Grafton area and Mr. Schultz took a maintenance position at St. Alphonsus Hospital. After his retirement he worked as a detailer at Heiser Ford. His wife preceded him in death in 2002. Mr. Schultz was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Grafton and the Rose-Harms American Legion Post. He enjoyed volunteer work with Family Tree and Interfaith Caregivers started the Ozaukee Senior Citizens Softball League and enjoyed woodworking as well but his main hobby was always working. Mr. Schultz is survived by his 3 daughters: Cynthia (Allan) Jacoby Denice (John) Frank and Pamela (Paul) Klenner all of Grafton his grandchildren: Kevin (Kristin) Jacoby Sarah (fianc Mike Greenwood) Jacoby Julie (Randy) Rottier David (Jessica) Frank Daniel and Eric Klenner and 1 great-granddaughter Elizabeth Rottier. He is further survived by his sisters: Lucille Paschelke Ruth Stanke Jeanne Schuelke Joan Abramson all of Milwaukee and Dixie Fera of Oconomowoc nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Lillian 2 brothers Lloyd and Sam 1 sister June Wertz and 1 infant sister Mary. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 31 2005 1PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Grafton. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of services at 1PM. Memorials to the Ozaukee Humane Society or the Lasata Care Center are appreciated.
