Obituary

Craig Alan Klopp was born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at age 70 where he will be met by parents Ralph and Elizabeth (nee Sturges) Klopp, and beloved dog Buck. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Klopp, and cherished dogs Ted and Max. Craig is further survived by his passionate companion, Kris Enea, her children, and family. Additionally, he is survived by his brother, Steve Klopp and family.

Craig attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he obtained a bachelor's degree in finance. He further went on to create a successful career as the local business owner of Precision Excavating. Craig’s customers appreciated his expertise and easy-going nature.

Craig was born, raised and still resided in Port Washington where he appreciated the history of the small town on Lake Michigan. He was often seen and recognized driving in his red convertible. He cherished memories of weekly visits with his childhood friend, Dane Anderson. Craig’s favorite place to be was up north at his cabin on Robert’s lake, where he enjoyed “fun-in-the sun” on his boat with family, friends, and dogs. Craig loved waterskiing, which he accomplished every summer with longtime friend, Mike ‘Zelmo’ Boede. Craig will be remembered by all for his contagious smile and laughter. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, neighbors, and classmates.

A Celebration of Life in remembrance of Craig will be held this summer during Fish Days weekend in Port Washington. More details to follow.
