Doedens
March 13, 2025 – August 3, 2025
Corinne "Connie" A. Doedens, also affectionately called "Mimi" by her grand-children, of Grafton passed away peacefully in her sleep early Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the age of 100. She was married to the Rev. Dr. Paul B. Doedens for 64 years until his passing in 2015. Connie and Paul spent most of their time (35 years) in ministry at Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Mequon where Connie served as the perfect Pastor's wife. She loved to be around people. Enjoyed singing in the choirs. Taught Sunday school and enjoyed children. Loved the life of being in the church. From Crossroads they spent six years at Valley Presbyterian Church in Green Valley, AZ, followed by two years at Mountain Shadows Presbyterian Church in Tucson, AZ, and then finished their time in ministry at Community Presbyterian Church in Lac du Flambeau, WI.
Connie loved her family, which included sons, Mark (Jill), Timothy (Katherine), Andrew (Sandra), Daniel (Kathleen) and daughter Deborah (Paul) Segebrect, as well as 14 grand-children, 17 great grand-children and one great great grand-child. Connie is further survived by nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Carolyn (nee Herber) Doedens of Cedar Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Doedens, grand-daughter, Niki Doedens, brother-in-law Daniel Doedens of Cedar Grove, sisters Ruth Elger of Muskego, and Audrey Frenz of Hales Corners, and brother Howard Fleischman of Muskego.
Many thanks to Anita's Gardens administration and staff for their wonderful care and compassion the past three years and to Brighton House Hospice for their recent care.
