Constance Joyce Cottrell was brought to her heavenly home on Saturday December 9th, 2023. She was 94 years old.

She was born to Erwin and Inez (nee DeGroat) Cottrell on April 23rd, 1929 in West DePere, Wisconsin. She attended West DePere High School and was united in marriage shortly after to Robert A. Petersen. Together they raised four daughters who were her number one priority. Whenever anyone needed Constance, she was there.

Constance was very talented, and had a special passion for music, art, and sewing. She was a wonderful seamstress and interior designer- you always knew that she was up to something when she had her "painting pants" on! Constance was also very dedicated to her church choir, Sunday school, and Girl Scout troops. She had a laugh and smile that was very contagious and could easily light up a room.

Constance is survived by her four daughters Sandra L. Snook, Marcia J. Braunsky, Lynn A. Petersen-Pokey, and Deborah M. Arndt. She is further survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Constance is also survived by her sister-in-law Noni Cottrell, nieces, nephews, close cousins, and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her eight siblings, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of her Life/95th birthday will be held on April 20th, 2024, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 131 N Webster St, Port Washington, WI 53074. from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.
