Ms. Connie Clark of Saukville passed away at her home on Monday morning, April 25, 2022. She was 80 years old.
Connie was born in Reedsburg on June 25, 1941, daughter of Glen and Olive Fry Rabuck. The family lived in La Valle and Connie attended local schools, including Wonewoc High School.
On August 24, 1957 Connie was united in marriage with Albert Clark in Valton, WI. The couple lived in the Reedsburg area until moving to Fredonia in 1962. Al preceded her in death in 1997. Connie moved to Saukville in 2010.
Ms. Clark worked as an assembler at Badger Meter for over 35 years, retiring in 2009. She was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Fredonia. Connie loved the outdoors; throughout the years she enjoyed going hunting and fishing up north with her family and friends. Trips north often included blueberry picking and possibly a stop at the casino. While she took pride in her cooking and canning skills, Connie also enjoyed going out to eat. In more recent years she enjoyed watching sports and cheered for the Brewers, Bucks and Packers with equal enthusiasm. Vocalizing her opinion was important to her, and Connie was never afraid to tell others where she stood on an issue.
Survivors include her son Don (Kay Goodwin) Clark of Saukville, daughter Darline (Alan) Kleckner of Belgium, and sister Illa Reed of Waupaca. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Marge Rabuck, other family and friends. Connie is preceded in death by son Duane Clark, daughter-in-law Lisa Clark, brothers Ralph and Larry Rabuck, and sisters Marge Hasse and Annabelle Kocher.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
