Mrs. Colleen R. Driscoll of Newburg formerly of Port Washington passed away unexpectedly Monday morning October 13 2014. She was 66 years old. Colleen was born January 13 1948 in Eau Claire the daughter of Solomon and Marion (nee Person) Beaudin. On August 19 1972 she was united in marriage at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. The couple moved their family to Port Washington in 1979 and resided there until moving to Newburg in 2004. For over the last 20 years she worked as a lab receptionist at Aurora Advanced in Port Washington. Colleen was an active and dedicated member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Port Washington and generously volunteered and donated to Advocates of Ozaukee. When her sons were growing up she was a dedicated soccer mom. She proudly did woodworking and painting with arts and crafts displays at the Cedarburg Wine Harvest Festival. Above all she will be remembered as a loving and giving woman whose world revolved around her grandchildren. Grandma Colleen added a special grandma touch to everything she did. Colleen is survived by her husband Larry of Newburg and their sons: Brian (Marilen) of Madison and Kevin of Milwaukee. She is further survived by her 3 grandchildren her pride and joy Owen Michael and Elena her father-in-law Ivan (the late Viola) Driscoll of New Berlin aunts uncles brothers- and sisters-in-law nieces nephews other relatives and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Yvonne Beaudin. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday October 18 2014 at Christ the King Church 420 Whitefish Road in Port Washington. She will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Newburg. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday morning from 9-11AM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Advocates of Ozaukee County in Saukville.
