CLIFFORD R. RISMEYER ldquo;Sonnyrdquo; Cliff ldquo;Sonnyrdquo; Rismeyer age 70 years of 320 Lindale St. Belgium formerly of Port Washington died Sunday August 10 2008 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette. He was born February 25 1938 in Port Washington son of the late Theodore and Lorraine Goetter Rismeyer. He was a 1958 graduate of Port Washington High School and married Marion Hilbelink on June 26 1965 in Gibbsville. Cliff worked as a welder at Modern Equipment Co. in Port Washington retiring in 2002 after 38 years. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Port Washington where he served as an elder and usher. He enjoyed woodworking camping hunting fishing and spending time at his cabin in the Crivitz area. He is survived by his wife Marion two children Kathy (Bryon) Woelfel of Fredonia and Mark Rismeyer of Newark NJ five grandchildren Melissa Halverson Devin and Sarah Fowler and Ashley and Brent Woelfel his brother Donald (June) Rismeyer of Grafton and his sisters Betty (the late Louis) Bodi of Milwaukee and Cynthia (Roger) Keller of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by four sisters Janis Beke Beverly Yovanovich Shirley Voeller and Adrianne Plier and four brothers Lloyd Harold Raymond and Wallace Rismeyer. Funeral Wednesday August 13 7 PM at St. Matthew Lutheran Church 1525 N. Grant St. Port Washington. Interment Zur Ruhe Cemetery Cedarburg. In state at the CHURCH Wednesday from 4-7 PM.
