Clifford "Cliff" R. Baumann passed away on June 10, 2018 at his home. He was 81 years old. Cliff was born on May 1, 1937 to Feoder and Loraine (nee Normann) Baumann. Cliff spent many years as a butcher carrying on the family meat market business. He was the proud owner of Baumann's Meat Market and in 1973 Cliff partnered with his brother Roger and together they opened a food store in Waubeka, where Schwai's is currently located. In his free time, Cliff had a passion for restoring model T Ford cars. He also spent 60 years dedicated to volunteering on the Waubeka Fire Department. Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Catherine "Lee Raye" (nee Wilmot) Baumann, children Linda Schommer of Port Washington, Doug Baumann of Plymouth, Michael (Lori) Baumann of Fredonia, grandchildren Kurt (Rachel) Schommer, Geoff (Jessi), Chase, Mike Jr. (Katie), Brad (Lauren) Baumann, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings-in-law Betty Baumann, Paulette Surk, Cricket (John) Habeth, Rose Marie (Wayne) Riekkoff and Louis (Colleen) Wilmot. Cliff is preceded in death by his brother Roger Baumann, granddaughter Catherine Schommer, son-in-law Alan Schommer and brother-in-law Clayton (Betty) Wilmot. A Funeral Service will be held at Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 West Grand Avenue Port Washington, WI 53074) on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Pastor Daniel A. Noennig will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. Interment will be at St. Paul Cemetery in Waubeka the following day. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Waubeka Fire Department or Waubeka National Flag Day Foundation are appreciated. Cliff's family would like to thank the caregivers who provided exceptional care and companionship to Cliff during his final years.
