Clare Margaret (St.Jean/Nienstedt) Daniels went to her heavenly home on July 27, 2025. She was 2 days shy of turning 93.

Clare was born in Gatineau, Quebec Canada on July 29, 1932. She was baptized in the Catholic faith and was one of thirteen children. She was educated in general studies learning both English and French. She worked as a homemaker, seamstress, GM auto-worker, and was an avid quilter; many friends and family have been the beneficiary of one of the many, many quilts she made.

She moved to Detroit where she met and married Fred Nienstedt and later moved to Shelby Township to raise her family. After her divorce from Fred, she married Lee C. Daniels also known as "Leesy".

She is survived by her five children; Fred (Renee), Marty (Yaffa), D'Anne (John), Micheal, and David (Mary) along with a few dozen grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebratory memorial service will be held at a later date.
