Ms. Chris Price of Sheboygan, formerly of Port Washington, passed away Monday afternoon, November 5, 2018, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls, following a strenuous battle with cancer. She had celebrated her 62nd birthday just a little over two weeks prior. Christine was born in Port Washington on October 20, 1956, daughter of Lawrence and Ethel Wilson Laven. She attended local schools and graduated from Port Washington High School. Chris was a fixture at Lincoln Elementary School, where she worked for 22 years. She absolutely loved all of "her kids". When she was not at school, Chris enjoyed gardening, cooking and keeping things tidy at the home she shared with her fiancée Gene Dittrich and dogs Mimi and Lulu, as well as working puzzles. Survivors include her son Bryan Price of Cedarburg, a daughter of Milwaukee and fiancé Gene Dittrich of Sheboygan. She was "Extra Mom" to Vicki (John) Landgraf of Sheboygan, and special grandma to Jacob-& Andrew Landgraf, also of Sheboygan. She is further survived by brothers Jeff (Nancy) Laven of Liberty, Missouri and Mike (the late Sherry) Laven of Port Washington, cousins, other family and many friends. A Gathering of Remembrance will take place on Sunday morning, November 11th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, from 9AM until 12 Noon. If desired, donations are suggested in Chris's name to the Lincoln Elementary School Breakfast Club.
